Meat protein

Animal proteins are considered to be complete, as they provide the 8 essential amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, valine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan). Meat protein is considered the best of all proteins, as it has a complete amino acid profile with the adequate doses and proportions.

The main sources of protein are: meat, poultry, eggs, fish, dairy products, soy and legumes (lentils, and certain types of beans).
