About Goji Berries
Goji berries are also known as Lycium barbarum. The fruits have an oval shape, are 1–1.5 cm long, and range from orange to red in colour. They are a good source of protein with different amino acids (building blocks for protein) and 21 different trace elements. People in Asia have been using this brightly-coloured fruit for more than 2,000 years as a medicinal herb and as an important element of their daily diet.
