Bagel pear cheddar egg melt

• ½ small pear (thinly sliced)

• 2 large eggs

• 1 tbsp. of honey.

• 1-2 slices of low-fat cheddar cheese

• 1 bagel.

Fry the eggs sunny side up in a frying pan while you toast the bagel. As you melt the cheese in the oven, sauté the pear slices in the pan you used for the eggs to have them caramelise. Put the egg and the pear on the bottom bagel half, drizzle the honey over it and and then add the molten cheese. Cover the whole with the remaining bagel slice.

2 Crispy bagels with fig jam, brie and prosciutto

• ½ tbsp. of extra-virgin olive oil

• ½ onion (peeled and thinly sliced)

• ½ tbsp. of balsamic vinegar

• 2 slices of prosciutto (thinly sliced)>

• 2 bagels

• 2 tbsps. of fig jam

• 100 g of brie cheese (sliced)

• ½ cup of arugula

Sauté the onions in some oil until they begin to caramelise. Add the vinegar and cook until it has reduced. Lay the prosciutto flat on a baking sheet and place it in the oven. Bake for about 10 minutes, until crispy. Spread the fig jam on the bottom bagel slices and add the brie on top. Place the four bagel halves on a baking sheet in the oven. Bake until the cheese has melted and the bagels are toasted, after about 5 minutes. Place the prosciutto, onions and arugula on top of the brie. Top with the remaining bagel halves.
