Grapes are a fruit with a history as rich as its nutritional profile. During the Neolithic period, foragers and early farmers used to harvest this fruit for its nutritional and medicinal value.

Their beneficial effects gave grapes their rightful place in society, and soon the species was planted and controlled.

Vitis vinifera, from which this supplement is extracted, is a cultivated form of the plant that grows mainly in humid forests and along streamsides. It can be found in the Mediterranean region, in countries like Portugal.
