Maca root extract

Maca, also known as Lepidium meyenii, is a plant native to Peru. Being a vegetable of the Brassicaceae family, it is related to e.g. broccoli. Maca extract is being increasingly used for its energizing, invigorating and aphrodisiac effects. The extract can be consumed raw and unprepared, it can be added to juices and milk shakes, or it can be taken in supplement form.
