Iron

Iron is a substance of mineral origin, which essential for the survival and proper functioning of the body. The largest amounts of iron can be found in hemoglobin and myoglobin. Foods that are extremely rich in iron are beef, cow liver, mutton, pork and chicken, fish, beans, tofu, lentils, leafy vegetables (dark green) and nuts.

When iron levels sink too much, the oxygen transport to the cells and the energy production are compromised, and people generally feel extremely tired and experience muscle fatigue.
