Our Suggestions:
Granola Cookies
- 1 cup Prozis Superb Granola
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 4 tbsp butter at room temperature
- 1 medium egg
- 1 tsp yeast
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until you get a homogenous dough.
- Scoop the cookie dough (1 tbsp = 1 cookie). Use clean hands or a spoon to flatten the dough into cookies. Bake at 180ºC (350ºF) for about 15 minutes.
- Tip: When placing the dough on the baking sheet, allow enough space between the cookies!
Granola Bars
- 2 cups Prozis Superb Granola
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup Prozis Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Prozis Classic Nut Mix
- Place the granola and the nut mix into a large mixing bowl and set it aside.
- Warm the honey and the peanut butter in a small saucepan over low heat until combined.
- Stir and pour over the granola and nuts, then mix, breaking up any larger granola bits.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Press down firmly until evenly flattened.
- Cover with parchment paper and let it firm in the fridge or freezer for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove it from the tray and chop it into bars or squares. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for extra crunch.
- Tip: If you prefer a nuttier flavor, toast the nuts before mixing them with the granola!
Chocolate & Granola Pie
- 1 ½ cups Prozis Superb Granola
- 1 premade refrigerated pie crust
- ¾ cup light brown sugar
- 5 tbsp melted butter
- 4 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 large eggs
- ½ teacup chopped bittersweet chocolate (70% cacao)
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390ºF). Place the pie crust in a nonstick pie dish. Cover the dough with crumpled parchment paper, and top it with pie weights. Bake it in a preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the weights and parchment paper, and let it cool completely.
- While the pie crust cools, reduce the oven temperature to 160°C (320ºF). Whisk together brown sugar, melted butter, honey, apple cider vinegar, and salt in a large bowl until smooth. Whisk in the eggs, one at a time. Stir in the granola and the chocolate.
- Pour the filling into the pie crust. Sprinkle with more granola for extra crunch.
- Bake it for about 55 minutes, or until evenly browned and firm.
- Let it cool at room temperature until completely set. Serve immediately.
- Tip: Serve warm, with a side of ice cream!
