Go beyond and succeed!
In all areas of sport - professional or amateur - everyone enjoys the sensation of reaching or even exceeding their goals. That's why Beta-alanine is fast becoming a popular ergogenic aid in high intensity challenges. As of late, several qualitative review articles have been published on the topic, and the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) provides an objective and critical review of the mechanisms and uses of beta-alanine supplementation. Based on currently available literature*, beta-Alanine supplementation can be an option, if taken in recommended doses and combined with a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The only reported side effect is paresthesia (a tingling sensation), although studies indicate this can be attenuated by using divided, lower doses or using a sustained release formula.
Note: combining beta-Alanine with other single or multi ingredient supplements may be advantageous. Make sure you get well informed about the best solution to max out your results!
