Echinacea

Echinacea root extract is obtained from the plant Echinacea purpurea . The plant is originally from North America, where it is traditionally used by native American tribes for its medicinal properties. The major bioactive agents in the extract, to which its therapeutical properties are attributed, are called alkylamides, divided into isobutylamide and methylbutylamine. These two substances are linked to the most important endocannabinoid receptors in the immune system and stimulate the synthesis and activity of immune cells.
