Fitness recipes: Chocolate brownie with nuts

For chocolate and nuts lovers out there who also like to eat easy-to-make snacks, here are three healthy recipes to prepare at home. All chocolate brownie recipes you see here are simple to make, and in one hour you'll have a snack ready for work or university, or a quick dessert for a dinner with friends.

Chocolate and black bean brownie

Ingredients

  • 40 g coconut flour
  • 1 can boiled black beans (260 g drained)
  • 2 tbsps raw cacao powder
  • 5 heaping tbsps agave
  • 40 g Prozis coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 100 g dark chocolate, in pieces

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven at 180°C
  • Grind the drained beans in a food processor
  • Add the coconut flour, the raw cacao powder, the agave, the coconut oil, the vanilla extract and the baking soda to the beans
  • Break the dark chocolate into pieces and fold into the mix
  • Place the mix in a metallic tin lined with foil
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes
  • Allow it to cool down and cut into squares before serving

Sweet potato and walnut brownie

Preparation

  • Boil the sweet potatoes
  • Preheat the oven at 180°C
  • Grind the dates and add them to the boiled, cold sweet potatoes
  • Mix everything into a purée
  • Add the cocoa, the egg whites, the coconut flour and the walnuts to the purée
  • Place the mix into a metallic tin lined with foil
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes
  • Allow it to cool down and cut into squares before serving

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven at 180°C
  • Place the butter and the chocolate in a bowl and let them melt over a water bath
  • On a separate bowl, place the coconut sugar, the cookie-flavoured oats, the egg whites, the baking soda and the previously ground cashews
  • Mix well and add the melted chocolate
  • Place the mix into a metallic tin lined with foil
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes
  • Allow it to cool down and cut into squares before serving
