On Matcha
Matcha is produced from the Camellia sinensis plant, just like green tea. However, its growth and production methods are very different.
The plants used for matcha are mostly grown in the shade, creating a unique nutrient profile and higher compound concentration, as well as a distinctive flavor and color. Also, unlike green tea, in which the leaves are dried, matcha powder is made from ground leaves. This means that you’ll enjoy nutrients from the whole tea leaf. Moreover, you’ll be ingesting the leaf entirely by mixing your Prozis Matcha Powder with water, milk, or in your recipes, rather than using and discarding a tea bag.
Matcha Latte
Ingredients:
• ½ –1 tsp Prozis Matcha Powder
• ¼ cup hot water
• ¼ cup warm milk or plant-based beverage (e.g., coconut milk, almond milk)
• Prozis Maple Syrup or Prozis Erythritol and Stevia Sweetener
Work your magic:
1. Sift your matcha so it’s lump-free.
2. Spoon the matcha into a large mug. Add the hot water and whisk briskly, in an up-and-down motion, until frothy. Add the milk/plant-based beverage and whisk until well combined.
3. Taste and add additional water, coconut milk, and/or sweetener to your liking.
Fresh tip: Add cinnamon or ginger powder for an extra spicy touch!
Matcha Pancakes
Ingredients:
• 1 cup Prozis Coconut or Almond Flour
• 1 tbsp Prozis Matcha Powder
• 2 tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• 1 cup milk or plant-based drink
• 1 large egg
• 2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
• ¼ cup Prozis White Chocolate Drops
Work your magic:
1. Whisk together the Coconut or Almond Flour, the Matcha Powder, the baking powder, and the salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center of the mixture. Add 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon of milk/plant-based drink, the egg, and the vanilla (optional) to the well. Whisk the batter briefly until just a few small clumps of flour remain. Add the White Chocolate Drops and stir again briefly.
2. Heat a nonstick pan over medium-low heat. Transfer 2 to 3 spoonfuls of batter onto the center of the pan, spreading it with the back of the spoon. Cook for about 1 minute until small bubbles rise to the surface and burst. Flip and cook for about 1 more minute until the edges are lightly golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter.
Fresh tip: Add Prozis Maple Syrup for extra deliciousness!

The matcha powder is really good quality: bright in color, it dissolves well, and provides a nice energy without causing any jitteriness. Perfect for making matcha lattes, smoothies, or fitness recipes. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the taste: it's authentic, but slightly more bitter than I expected. Nothing overwhelming; in fact, for those who love traditional matcha, it's definitely a plus. With a little sweetener or milk, it's still excellent. Overall, a solid product that I would buy again!
